Holidays

It's been a while since I've written. It's been hectic trying to recover from the auto accidents, and being prepared for the BABE show this year. I am grateful that although I wasn't able to prepare for the show as usual, I managed to do better than last year. But then, last year I had just said good-bye for the last time to my baby sister and my heart was broken.
This year, I'm reflecting on this past year, and of course I think about the coming year and what I'm hoping to accomplish. Every year I set certain goals for myself. It gives me something to focus on and this year will be no exception. I do have business goals, and some personal ones as well.
I did test some new color schemes this year at the BABE show. Godiva, a rich transparent dark chocolate design, Nougat, a toffee and negative look to Godiva, using similar colors that will go together but look different as sets. Park Avenue has been a great seller and received quite well. I'm currently working on a blue color combination that a designer has wanted me to recreate for a while now. This set is the reason I came up with my receipe book for Bullseye colors. I've already named this color scheme, K_Blue, now I just need to hit that sweet spot with the colors.
I'm putting some finishing touches on my wholesale products and hopefully will be showing them soon. Anyway, I hope that everyone has a wonderful Christmas and holiday season. May you all spend time with the people you love and cherish and may all your Christmas wishes come true.
Until next time.....
Vickie
